Mrs. Krut and Mrs. Charlton's Website

Hi Fifth Graders! I am so excited to be one of your teachers this year. My name is Lauren Krut and this is my sixth year at Harker, but my tenth year teaching! I graduated from Rowan University in 2013 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Geography. I can't wait to get to know you and have an amazing year in fifth grade!

I love to spend time with my family, Dan and Charlotte. My daughter, Charlotte, is two years old. She is a very special girl; she was born at just 22 weeks! We love to visit the Aquarium and Zoo, visit family, and be outside.

Hello! I am so excited to be one of your teachers this year. My name is Cindy Charlton and this is my fifth year teaching at Harker, but my 15th year teaching overall! I graduated from Penn State in 2007 with a B.A. in Journalism & English. I received my M.S. in Elementary Education at Neumann University, specializing in both special ed and general ed pre-K-6th.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family. I both live and work in the district, so this community is especially important to me. My husband and I have 5 kids at home- my stepdaughter, Cheyenne (16), attends GCIT, and my younger children attend Stratton and Clifford-Arabella (8), Savannah (6), & RJ (5). We completed our family with the arrival of our baby girl, Lakelyn, last December! Needless to say, as a busy mom of 5, I definitely understand the balancing act of school, activities, family, and everyday life. I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year and can’t wait to get to know your children and families!
