This year, Mrs. Floyd and Mrs. Collins will be using Class Dojo for communicating daily activities and reminders. We will also send a weekly update with skills for the week, school events, and fun photos. Students will have an assignment book that will need to be checked and signed daily for assignments and notes. In the event that behavior is not appropriate, We will contact you through email/phone. Please do not communicate concerns through Class Dojo, but instead reach out to us through school email. It is our main goal to have open communication with parents and return all emails and calls ASAP.
The children will be given 5 pennies each week. The goal will be to keep all 5 pennies in the cup to be exchanged for tickets to be placed in our ticket box. On Friday afternoon, 5 tickets will be pulled from the jar and the winning names will be given the opportunity to choose a prize from the treasure box. All tickets will be delivered to the office to be placed in our schoolwide PBSIS tank where students have an opportunity to be picked as a Comet winner. Pennies may be taken when a student is not following the list of class rules (warnings will be given first). All 5 pennies will be replaced after the tickets are distributed on Friday to have a fresh start on Monday.
