There are times throughout the school year when we will be inside for recess because of the weather. At open house or on the first day of school your child will receive a large ziplock bag. Please place some indoor recess items inside the ziplock bag for your child to play with in the event of indoor recess and label your child's bag with their name. These items will be kept at school in their cubbie. I will send their indoor recess bag home about once a month to swap out for new items to play with. 

Items that can be sent in are:

Playing cards

Travel games

Coloring books

Puzzles

Mad Libs

Polly Pockets

Littlest Petshops

Transformers

Small bag of building blocks

Small bag of Legos

Sketch book

Matchbox cars

Please be mindful when sending in toys that they...

• Do not depict violence. No weapons or pretend weapons,

• Are not electronics. No handheld game systems,

• Are not precious, so nothing that will be missed at home. 

• Must fit in the bag and the bag must zip closed.

• Are not too noisy. :)

• And please nothing worth more than a few dollars.
