In the ideal world, I would love to be teaching math and science in fifth grade.
I currently have a teaching degree in elementary education, from New Jersey City University, and my certification for teacher of students with disabilities, from Rowan University.
I have been teaching since 2000 in both public and private schools. From 2000 to 2005, I was an assistant teacher for math in grades six-eight in a public school in Lincoln Park, NJ. From 2005 to 2012, I taught as a science teacher for grades five-eight in a private school in Mahwah, NJ.
In 2013, my wife's job relocated from North Jersey to Pennsylvania and we move to this area. After moving, I started as a substitute teacher and was hired to finish the year as a long-term substitute, at the Harker School. For the 2014/2015 school year, I was hired as a long-term substitute, in the fifth grade, in an inclusion/ pullout classroom. In 2015 I was hired as a full-time teacher with the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District as an inclusion teacher with the fourth grade.
Outside of school, I umpire baseball and softball. I am a graduate of the Wendelstadt Professional Baseball Umpire School and subbed with the Can-Am Independent Baseball League during the summer of 2013. In 2022, I was selected to umpire the Little League Softball Eastern Regional Tournament in Bristol, CT.
