Welcome to 6th Grade!

I have 14 years of classroom experience teaching 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. 6th grade is my FAVORITE because of the students' thoughtful insights and perspectives. It is a cornerstone grade level, which develops students' skills for the rest of their academic journeys.  

My passion for education was shaped by my experiences growing up on a lake in Wharton State Forest. I spent my days exploring the New Jersey Pine Barrens and studying underwater species. Now, I share my love for nature with my husband, Matt, and our cat, Darla. We enjoy hiking the trails in Wharton State Forest, exploring the botany of Longwood Gardens, and relaxing by the waves along the Jersey coastline. Most of the time, you'll find me reading a book on our deck, enjoying the views of the Delaware River.
