Hello all families!

Well, your child has officially survived their first week of first grade! What a fun, energetic, and excellent group all of your students are. I’m so thrilled that I get to be their teacher this year and that I get to see their smiling faces everyday. Their compassion and personalities are cuteness overload for me! :)

Things they learned this week:

• Bus safety

• Review of counting to ten and back

• Classroom rules and expectations

• Spelling test on short vowel a

• Ipad agreement, signing into IXL and Seesaw

Things to watch for:

• All students took home their Friday Folder today with instructions to bring it back signed this next Wednesday. Please make sure to sign your students folder and check all papers inside so they can bring them back after our long weekend.

• Your students have a spelling test on short vowel a next Friday. They took a pre-test today that Ms. Jenkins and I will use for assessments. Please help them study!

• Your student brought home a few papers today that need to be signed. Please check all papers inside and sign any forms that come your way, and email me if you have any questions. I am here to help.

• Your students are also bringing home their Marathon t-shirts! Marathon information is found inside the folder as well!
