All about Mrs. Giesen

 I graduated from UW-La Crosse with a major in Elementary/Middle Education and a minor in Mathematics.  A few years later I received my Masters degree from the College of St. Catherine.  I have taught in the Catholic schools for my whole teaching career.  After a few years I moved to second grade, where I discovered my passion.  I am blessed to be a part of your child's second grade year as they grow in their faith through their sacraments.  I am continually growing as a learner and want to instill that love for learning in my students.  

I live in New Prague with my husband Luke and my three kids, Tyler (17), Macy (14), and Brienna (12).  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, scrapbooking, traveling, and going for walks.
