I am thrilled to be your scholar's teacher. I believe that children deserve to learn in a nurturing and safe environment from a caring teacher. Rooted in love, I empower students to think critically, act ethically, and respect themselves and others. I balance high academic standards with strong character development to grow the whole person: mind, body, and soul. My classroom unites scholars through a commonality of respect and trust. In our inclusive learning community, children see the face of Christ reflected in their peers and teacher. By investing in positive relationships with students and encouraging respect and kindness, the All-Star classroom is a space where students come to know Jesus personally while growing in faith and love. Children learn responsibility and empathy alongside rigorous academics. I teach a growth mindset; mistakes are signs of learning. Through guided math and guided reading, I differentiate instruction to adequately challenge each of my students. When possible, I structure learning as play to increase student engagement. Creative problem solving and collaboartion are embedded into daily instruction to ensure that today's students become tomorrow's leaders

I believe that every child is a gift from God. I am devoted to the success of each student. Through equitable instruction, personalized learning, and compassionate modeling, I help my students meet and exceed their goals.
