As the result of grant funding made available to the district from New York State, it has been a privilege for the District to be able to offer a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program to a number of our eligible students each of the past three years. Unfortunately, with a portion of the grant funding for this program expiring and the remaining grant funds capped well below the actual per pupil tuition cost, the District will not be continuing this program for the 2024-2025 school year. Should New York State revise their per pupil tuition limits for Universal Pre-Kindergarten to enable us to apply these funds to fully cover actual tuition for the program, we will certainly explore restarting this program in the future.
