The New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) coordinates services for citizens of the state of New York with developmental disabilities. Services are provided to eligible individuals through a collection of both state-run service providers and private nonprofit organizations. For additional information on OPWDD, please click the button below.
OPWDD offers "Front Door" informational sessions that provide vital information on how individuals can become eligible for supports and services, the different types of supports and services available, and where individuals can go for additional assistance.
These sessions are offered digitally several times monthly. Click the button below to access the NYS OPWDD Front Door Information Session website for additional information or to sign up to attend an informational session.
