Hands-On,Minds On:Using a Multi-Sensory & Developmental Approach to Literacy Training for Pre-K & Kindergarten -1/30-12:00-3:00pm
PL Attendance - Please be sure your staff that registers attends. If they are unable to attend, please ask them to withdraw as soon as they know they cannot attend to create openings for those on the waiting list. Presenters and supplies are expensive, preparations are time-consuming, and record-keeping becomes inaccurate.
Examples: Emotional Poverty - 52 registered, books for participants were purchased, only 25 attended - $500 excess
Math Fractions Workshop - Filled quickly, so we added an additional day, but only 36 out of 53 attended
Amie Dean - 135 registered....150 attended....15 participants will not have transcripts for participation.
(Other RESAs have begun to charge no-show fees, so with your help, we will not have to move in this direction. Emergencies and illness obviously happen. We just need to be good stewards of the funds we receive from your systems and the state.)
