Signing Savvy is your complete sign language resource. Signing Savvy includes a sign language dictionary containing several thousand high-resolution videos of American Sign Language (ASL) signs, fingerspelled words, and other common signs used within the United States and Canada.
Signing Savvy also includes a host of resources and tools to use while learning sign language, such as the ability to build custom wordlists and share them with others, create virtual flash cards and quizzes, print signs, build sign phrases, and much more! Decoding Dyslexia – NJ is a grassroots movement driven by NJ families concerned with the limited access to educational interventions for dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities within our public schools. We aim to raise dyslexia awareness, empower families to support their children and inform policy-makers on best practices to identify, remediate and support students with dyslexia in NJ public schools.
The Statewide Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN) is an independent 501(c)3 organization committed to empowering families as advocates and partners in improving education, health, and mental health outcomes for infants, toddlers, children and youth. SPAN is a "first stop" for New Jersey families. SPAN is New Jersey's Parent Training and Information Center; Family to Family Health Information Center; Family Voices State Affiliate Organization; Parent to Parent USA affiliate; and a chapter of the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health.
This third edition of Autism: A Family Guide to Navigating the New Jersey Service Systems for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities remains the same as its two prior iterations: assist anyone in need of ASD related services to access New Jersey’s state system of programs and services for individuals with ASD. “Through the Maze” is a starting point for anyone interested in developing an understanding of the way New Jersey has arranged its governmental services for individuals and families affected by ASD; it is not intended to represent every ASD service available in New Jersey. The state has local non-profit organization partners that run intensive and comprehensive programs that fill service needs, which are not addressed by state government.

"The Association for Special Children and Families (ASCF) is a community-based organization for families of children with disabilities. We were founded by a small group of dedicated parents in 1978 who wanted to assist other parents in the challenging role of parenting and educating a child with a disability. Our goal is to support and educate parents to advocate for their own child with a special need. We are not advocates, but parent consultants who guide and support parents. Parents are their child’s best and most effective advocate. We give them the tools to do this on their own."
The Arc of New Jersey Family Institute was developed as a resource for families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) starting in January of 2014. Our goal is to help families find the tools and resources they need to navigate the system of care. We are dedicated to providing timely information and bridging the gap between service changes and families. We will do this by providing advocacy and education on services, transition and system issues, individual issues and so much more.
Family Partners of Morris & Sussex Counties, a Family Support Organization, is a private, family-led organization that provides support for families with children who have special mental health, emotional or behavioral challenges and is based on three core principals: Support, Education and Advocacy.

DDS Publishes the New Jersey Guide to Accessible Parking and New Jersey Resources. New Jersey Resources, updated regularly, is a comprehensive guide detailing the programs and services the New Jersey Department of Human Services offers residents, caregivers, advocates, and individuals with disabilities, statewide. Both publications are available in English and Spanish and in both print and digital formats.
