About the teacher...
My name is Katherine Blazier and my family moved from Bergen County to Wantage when I was six years old. I attended school in the Sussex-Wantage School District, and graduated from High Point High School ( I won't say what year). I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Niagara University, and worked in hotel management for several years after graduating. I knew I wanted to take a different path and work with children, so I went back to school and obtained a Special Education teaching certification from William Paterson University. I began working in the Sussex-Wantage Regional School District in 2001, and worked as a Resource Room Special Education teacher at Wantage School 2003-2023. I am happy to be currently teaching Preschool and grade 2 Resource Room for the 2023-2024 school year. I am also known by the nickname "Kandi," a name given to me by my father when I was young.
