Our Mission:

The Southwest R-V School-wide Title I.A mission, through the combined efforts of both family and school, is to raise student achievement and be responsive to the needs of all students, enabling them to reach their potential. We believe the quality of learning directly affects the quality of life.

Program Description:

The Southwest R-V Title I.A school-wide program allows all students preschool through fourth grade to utilize and benefit from the programs offered. The school-wide program offers pull-out and push-in instructional programs including Interactive Writing, Guided Reading, Guided Reading Plus, Reading Recovery, and Math Intervention. These programs include differentiated instruction and flexible grouping and utilize Accelerated Reading and Math along with a variety of other resources including, but not limited to, WriteSteps Writing and Starfall. Furthermore, we offer M.A.S.H (My After School Help) tutoring program for all 3rd and 4th grade students on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Title I.A school-wide program dedicates itself to setting high expectations and providing the best possible learning environment for all students. The faculty and staff work diligently with the students and parents to ensure that each child receives the needed assistance to achieve academic success.
