Enrolling in college can be confusing, especially now during these uncertain times. We would like to reassure our students and parents that enrolling and attending college is still within our reach and want to provide you with direction, assistance and up-to-date resources so you will be able to reach your educational goals.
Luckily today we can complete college applications, fill out financial aid and apply to scholarships all online. Furthermore, most colleges have online formats to communicate with students on application processes, financial aid statuses, class registrations and even online classes and I would guess during this time of social distancing colleges will be creating more and more online processes and opportunities.
In an effort to help parents and students enroll into college; whether it is a 4-year university, a 2-year college or trade school, we would like to provide:
Resources - on this site you can get information on:
College Applications
Financial Aid
Scholarships
College Entrance Exams
Other online resources - https://www.askadvi.org - The Virtual Advising Project pairs artificial intelligence – a chatbot named ADVi – with knowledgeable, near-peer advisers to help Texans get answers to questions about attending college, returning to college, financial aid, and more. ADVi is accessible by text message and online chat 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Near-peer advisers provide support when a question cannot be answered by ADVi. Check out our FAQs to learn more about ADVi.
We want to ensure that students and parents are receiving support, information and assistance on future educational opportunities in formats that help ensure our students and parents safety.
