Culture and Citizenship in Québec
Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, the Culture and Citizenship in Québec program will replace the Ethics and Religious Culture program at both the elementary and secondary level.
The draft Culture and Citizenship in Québec programs for elementary and secondary school are currently being field-tested as pilot projects.
NOTE: Resources will be available after the pilot project has been completed.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The Culture and Citizenship in is rooted in the fields of sociology and ethical philosophy.
Prepare students to exercise citizenship in Québec society
Help students learn to recognize themselves and others
Pursue the common good
