Dual Credit & Core Complete

In partnership with local universities and colleges, students who meet eligibility criteria may take two courses per semester beginning in the junior year of high school that earn both high school and college credit. Courses taken and passed in this manner may be counted towards completion of a degree plan at any public Texas college or university. Southwest ISD offers a full range of dual credit courses in all core content areas, as well as some elective course areas, and continues to work to develop new possibilities for class offerings in this area.
