Week at a Glance (WAAG)
September 6 - September 10
Week at a Glance (WAAG)
We are sending out a Week at a Glance (WAAG) as a means to inform students and parents of the upcoming important events and announcements for the week. For general information, please visit our website at http://moh.sweetwaterschools.org
Message from the Principal - Mr. Zumstein
Greetings Aztecs.
This week everyone will be getting an email regarding Pool and Rapid COVID testing. Our student athletes and certain performance groups are required to participate in a "pool" testing program which also brings rapid testing to our site for close contact cases. Starting this Wednesday we will host rapid antigen tests for any asymptomatic student who was deemed a close contact. This further helps in our efforts to keep kids safe and in class. In the coming weeks we will also have tests available on Mondays. To be allowed to take these rapid tests you must sign the consent form. To access the form click the link below. (At this point only student athletes and certain performance groups are doing the pool testing component described in the consent form).

From the ASB
If you know a 2021 alumni, please let them know last year's yearbooks have arrived. They can be picked up in the ASB by making an appointment with Ms. Ruiz at valerie.ruiz@sweetwaterschools.org. You can also purchase last year's yearbook for $65 cash.
We are still selling ASB Cards. For $25 you can get into all football and basketball home league games with the exception of Homecoming Game and Dance. It is a great way to avoid the long lines at games.
Attention Seniors - schedule your senior portraits with MG Portraits at their website. Remember this is the picture that will be featured in the yearbook. Deadline to make your appointment is 10/01.
Household Income Forms
Help Us Collect Household Income Forms by October 30
We have a goal of collecting 70% of our Household Income Forms by October 30. You can complete your form by accessing it on Infinite Campus. Our annual Federal funding is based on the number of lunch applications that are returned and approved each year. This determines how much funding our schools will receive the following year to support students. Federal funding pays for school resources and programs that support the academic success of your children, i.e., tutoring, interventions, classroom supplies and technology equipment, instructional software and supplemental instructional resources.
All benefits to complete and submit a Free and Reduced-Priced Meal application:
Funds to sustain school programs like Magic Center.
Funds to purchase educational supplies, materials and technology for classrooms.
Fee-Reduced High School Exams:
SAT & ACT - College Admission
(Students who take the SAT using a test fee waiver can receive four college application fee waivers.
Most colleges participate.)
AP – Advanced Placement (College credit)
(Fee reduced from $119.00 to $10.00)
Household Internet Discount
Bus pass discount
Watch the video below to learn how to complete it online. Also, students will also receive a copy of the document in class this week. They can submit it to boxes in the ASB, front office, or library.
