CREATING THE FUTURE ... HONORING THE PAST
CREATING THE FUTURE ... HONORING THE PAST
Week of February 9th - February 16th, 2024 Vol.23
Happy Counselors Week, Royals!
Thank you for all you have done for us counselors!
During the month of February, we celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of African-Americans such as Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Mae Jemison, Harriet Tubman, and other Black individuals. They all helped shape and fix our country. Thanks to them, we have a lot of basic inventions that still work and help a lot to this day. Happy Black History Month, Royals!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
KINDNESS WEEK
What is kindness week about?
Kindness Week became a thing when several humanitarian groups came together on November 13, 1997, and made a Declaration of Kindness. What started as Kindness Day turned into Kindness Week, where everyone is encouraged to make a similar declaration of kindness and charity.
What's the purpose?
The purpose of Kindness Week is to highlight positive actions in the community focused on our bonds with each other.
These are the different Spirit Days for Kindness Week!

Students,
This is a friendly reminder that if you are not feeling well...
1. You need to ask your teacher for a pass to the nurse.
2. The nurse will assess you and determine if you need to go home.
3. If you need to go home, the NURSE will call your parent to pick you up
Students MUST NOT call the parent for pick up. This creates a lot of confusion in the main office with our staff.
We appreciate your support with this.
Respectfully,
RDR Administration
RDR Policy per our Student/Parent Handbook
VISITORS/PARENTS: For student safety, all visitors are required by law to check in with the main office upon entering and leaving the campus. Those wishing to visit classrooms must have prior approval from the administration and obtain a visitor’s pass from the main office. Only those individuals with valid photo identification designated as authorized contacts may be given access to students.
