Greetings, Mariners!
Please remember to follow all traffic rules when picking up and dropping off students! We are seeing people roll through the stop signs, enter crosswalks while students are crossing, and even driving on the wrong side of the street to avoid traffic! Please help keep our Mariners safe by obeying the law. IB Sheriffs will be out at entry and release times to help support us with safety.
Parents and guardians, you have received emails regarding the Universal Benefit Applications (UBA) . Please fill out this form as soon as possible. This is the information that is used to determine how much federal funding Mar Vista High School receives and ALL students benefit from that funding. That is why we need ALL families to complete the form. Once you complete the form, you will be removed from the communications list and you will no longer receive reminders. Thank you for helping us with this.
On Thursday, August 13th, Mar Vista will host Back to School Night for our students and families. We hope you can be here to see our campus, meet your students' teachers, and have some fun!
Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Teresa Kramer

🚻 Bathrooms are not gathering spaces
📵 No cell phones during instructional time
Your partnership helps us maintain a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment for all students
Students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed academically.
Missing just 2 days a month adds up quickly.
These final two weeks are crucial for review, social connection, and preparing for next year.
Make school a priority every day until the last day.
Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible.
Let us know if anything is preventing attendance—we're here to help!
