"Spring into Sports" this month in the library! This month's display is all about sports. Some books are brand new, and some are older favorites! Feel free to take any books off the display that you'd like to check out!
Library books can be checked out for 6 weeks.
A maximum of three books can be checked out at a time (but if you really want to check out more, just come talk to Ms. Siglin!).
The library is continually receiving new books and magazines. All new arrivals go to the bookcases in the middle of the library.
Watch this presentation to see how to use our online library system, Alexandria. You can access our library system on your own to find out what books we have and if they are available. You can also view the books you have checked out and see if any of them are overdue. moh.goalexandria.com
Ebooks, Audiobooks, Online Textbooks
Students and staff have access to eBooks and audiobooks through the SORA app. Go to https://soraapp.com/ and sign in to Sweetwater Union High School District (If you need to search for your school, find our district Sweetwater Union High School District, not MOH.) Use your school email to sign in. You can use it on your laptop or your phone. Explore all the books that are available! If you need any help, come see Ms. Siglin in the library.
Montgomery High School students have the option to utilize online versions of some of our textbooks; this can be in place of checking out a printed copy of a textbook.
Online textbook access is limited to the following courses. Click here to access online textbooks.
Click on the picture to listen to this podcast with Ms. Siglin and Mr. Christian (your librarian and library tech) to hear the answers to the most common questions that students have about the library or technology. We cover topics like finding books in the library, lost or damaged items and library debt, hanging out in the library, and getting help for laptop issues. If you have any other questions, please come visit us in the library! We are here to help!

TIPS FOR TEENS
🎧 Tech-Savvy Teen Tips: Stay Smart Online! 💻
💬 Pause Before You Post: The internet never forgets — think twice before you hit “share!”
🔐 Lock It Down: Use strong passwords — your future self will thank you.
⚡ Don’t Click the Sketchy Stuff: If it looks sus, it probably is. Keep your device drama-free!
🕹️ Screen Time = Me Time (in Moderation): Too much scroll? Take a break — the real world’s pretty cool too.
💖 Spread Good Vibes Only: Be the reason someone smiles when they check their notifications.
📖 Lit Up Your Literacy! 🔤
💡 Read What You Love: Comics, blogs, novels — if it’s got words, it counts! Reading anything builds your brainpower.
✍️ Write Your World: Journal, rap, text, or blog — your voice matters, so let those words flow.
🎧 Listen and Learn: Audiobooks and podcasts totally count — stories hit different when you hear them.
🔎 Word Nerd Power: Learn a new word each week and drop it casually — instant vocabulary flex!
🌍 Mix It Up: Try stories from different cultures or genres — adventure, mystery, fantasy, real life — keep it fresh!
1. If you are having wi-fi issues with your laptop (or some other weird glitches), try to shut down your computer completely, then turn it back on. Over half the time, that fixes the issue and saves you a trip to the library. If it still doesn't work, please come to the library and we will be happy to help.
2. Leave your case on! If you take off the case, your warranty is void which means if anything breaks and the case is not on, you will have to pay for the damages. Also, our computer tech cannot fix your computer if the case is not on it. Keep those cases on, Aztecs!
