Letter of Resignation

A Letter of Resignation is an official letter written by an employee to an employer stating the employee's intention to leave their current position at the company. Although it is not required in California, it is customary to give your employer a two weeks' notice when leaving the company. California is an at-will state meaning employees can leave at anytime and employers can layoff, fire, or let you go at anytime. Below are three examples of Letters of Resignation.
