How can the students sign up?

A parent or guardian must complete our online interest form online. The 2025-2026 school year will be online only submission. No paper applications.

Can they be enrolled in both morning and after-school program?

Yes! 

How do we know if they are enrolled?

Online applicants will receive an email from CitySpan with a link and instructions on how to finish the registration. 

Can we pick them up anytime after school?

No. Students can be picked up at 4:37 pm with an early release form on file Monday through Thursday. Friday early release time begins at 3:37 pm. Otherwise, you can pick them up starting at 5:37 pm.

Please note: priority is given to those who can attend all of program time

What happens if the students miss program?

Students have to attend half of the program time every week. Our campus offers 16 hours a week. The attendance requirement for students is to attend a minimum of 8 hours a week. Failure to do so will result in removal from the program.

When do the students complete their homework?

Students have the option of either attending tutoring with Mrs. Garcia during the first part of the program or completing their homework during homework hour towards the end of program time with their coach.

If my daughter or son wants to participate in a sport, do they have to be enrolled in the after-school program? 

Yes. The program is a state-funded program and is created through partnerships between our school and Southbay Community Services. We must meet program requirements (California Education Code [EC] sections 8482–8482.55).

Do all students need to be cleared in HomeCampus?

No. Only student-athletes need to be cleared for competitive sports participation.
