NEW INCOMING 8TH GRADERS COURSE SELECTION FORM
To request a transfer from Bonita Vista Middle School to another school within the Sweetwater district, follow these steps:
1. Start with the district’s Intradistrict Transfer Procedures: Access and follow the steps outlined [HERE].
2. If the transfer window is closed, email your student's Assistant Principal (AP) based on their last name:
A-L: roberto.bonilla@sweetwaterschools.org
M-Z: marisol.higareda@sweetwaterschools.org
3. The AP will reach out to you to gather more information about your request.
4. The AP will then contact an administrator at the desired school to check if they have space and are willing to accept the transfer.
5. If the transfer is accepted, you will be asked to come in and sign the transfer request form.
6. The signed form will be sent to Student Support Services for final approval.
7. Once approved, Student Support Services will notify both schools.
8. You will be informed of the approval by Bonita Vista Middle School and will need to visit the registrar to officially withdraw your student.
9. Finally, enroll your student at the new school.
