2024-2025 CCP Intent to Participate Form -- ALL students who think they may be taking CCP courses next school year should complete this electronic form. It will require both student and parent to sign electronically. (Click the title to access the form). This form should be completed no later than April 1.
Student Questionnaire and Permission Slip will be sent to student's CSCC email, and students should complete the forms electronically.
CSCC CCP Student Questionnaire -- Students who have never taken a CCP course through CSCC MUST return this form or they will NOT be officially scheduled into a CCP course.
CSCC CCP Permission Slip -- Students who have never taken a CCP course through CSCC MUST return this form or they will NOT be officially scheduled into a CCP course.
CCP Courses offered at WHS
The following courses are offered at Westland High School and can be selected while scheduling for courses. Each course is one semester and offers HS and college credit. Students MUST meet eligibility requirements in order to be officially registered into the course.
SPAN1101 Beginning Spanish I / SPAN1102 Beginning Spanish II (it is recommended that students complete HS Spanish I before registering for this course
CHEM1111 Elementary Chemistry -- this course is combined with 1st semester of Accel Chemistry. Math placement eligibility is required.
POLS1100 Intro to American Government -- it is recommended that students take this their junior year (or after they have taken Comp I and II)
FMGT1101 Personal Finance -- This course will meet the Financial Literacy requirement for students in Cohort 2026 and beyond.
BMGT1008 21st Century Workplace Skills / COLS1101 College Success Skills -- these 2 combined courses are open to juniors and seniors
