Welcome to ParaPro Assessment Test Prep!  This site will assist you in preparing to successfully pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment. The ParaPro assessment is a general aptitude test that measures your skills and knowledge in math, reading, and writing.   This assessment is one way in which you can add the ESEA Qualified Endorsement to your Ohio Educational Aide Permit.  To begin please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Please read through the ParaPro FAQ.  If you would like more detailed information, you can find it in the ParaPro Informational Assessment Bulletin.  This will provide you with information about testing procedures to allow you to be prepared on testing day.

2. If you would like to study and prepare before taking your practice test, you can find practice questions and a study guide here. You can also utilize the tabs above to take you to topic specific review materials. 

3. When you are ready to take your practice test, please click on the Practice Test tab above.  This will take you to a practice test website.  Once there, please enter your name and email.  Please complete all three practice tests: Math, Reading, and Writing.  For this test, you are NOT allowed to utilize any electronic devices including a calculator.  You may utilize three pieces of blank scratch paper to work out the problems.  This will be the same as the actual testing environment. 

4. Once you receive the email with your test results, please take some time to analyze your practice test results.  If there are areas where you scored less than 70%, please utilize the resources and materials found in the content area where you scored less than 70% to continue to prepare and study.   For any area where you scored less than 70%, please take the practice test again until you hit the 70% proficiency score.

5. Once you have earned a score of 70% or higher on each of the content areas, please register to take the ParaPro test following the instructions provided by the HR department.
