Contemporary World Issues

The goal for this class is to look at major current issues in the world and discuss, analyze, and debate them. We will take a look back at the foundations of these issues to better understand where we are at today. We will do various simulations in class, where students will take action on certain issues. Current events will serve a critical role in this class too, so understand that it will be your responsibility to keep up with the news!
