Trips and visits

The MFL department runs regular exchange visits.  German students have the opportunity to visit Saarburg in Year 10 as part of our long-standing exchange programme. They will spend a week there and will experience what is is like to live with a German family and they will also spend time visiting the sites in and around the area. This is an excellent opportunity to not only improve their German skills but also increase self-confidence and independence. 

Our 6th form students visit German-speaking cities (such as Vienna,  Stuttgart or Cologne) and the surrounding region. They are able to experience German food, culture and architecture as well as practice their spoken German.
