I Love U Guys

& The Standard Response Protocol (SRP)

What is "I Love U Guys?"

I Love U Guys is a foundation that provides crisis response and post crisis reunification methods, training, and resources. These were created through research based best practices of school administrators, psychologists, public safety experts, families, and first responders.

SPS is working with this foundation to provide a revamped safety protocol that students can learn from grades K-12. The training, Standard Response Protocol (SRP), is being implemented in our schools beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. This is a widely used training that is also deployed across the country in colleges and municipal spaces.

What is "SRP"?

By standardizing the vocabulary, all stakeholders can understand the response and status of the event.

SRP: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter
