We are proud to share that our Grade 2 student, Arabella, has achieved a Silver Award in the ESU Youth Public Speaking Competition (Preliminary Round – Session 2).
The ESU (English-Speaking Union) Youth Public Speaking Competition is an international platform that aims to develop students’ confidence, communication skills, and ability to express ideas clearly in English. For her speech, Arabella presented on the topic “My Favorite National Traditional Festival.” In her recorded video submission, she confidently shared about her cultural heritage from her home country, the Philippines. She introduced a meaningful traditional festival, expressing her ideas with clarity, enthusiasm, and pride.
Through her video, Arabella demonstrated confidence, strong expression, and thoughtful preparation. Her effort and dedication were clearly reflected in her performance, highlighting her growing public speaking skills and ability to communicate effectively.
We are incredibly proud of Arabella’s achievement and commend her for representing the school so well. Well done, Arabella!

Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) opened its doors to 19 bright-eyed children from a local orphanage for a morning filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful connection. The day kicked off at 9:00 AM with high-energy icebreakers and warm welcomes that immediately made our young guests feel right at home. Five SWA student volunteers then led the group through hilarious rounds of "Simon Says" and talent relays, successfully building a wonderful sense of camaraderie and confidence. Laughter echoed across the campus as the children enjoyed some well-deserved "Playground Time", letting their spirits run free in the fresh air. For the main event, the children donned aprons for a hands-on cooking class where they learnt the life skill of preparing delicious veggie fried noodles with shrimps and meatballs. The enticing aroma of their culinary creations filled the room as everyone gathered to share a meal and swap stories about their favourite parts of the day. The heartwarming event wrapped up with a festive group photo and the distribution of goody bags, leaving every child with a radiant smile. This beautiful collaboration proved that a few hours of shared play and learning can create a lasting impact on the hearts of both the visitors and the SWA community.
