CONGRATULATIONS
YALE MUN XLIX 2023 AND THE 20th Training Program on The UN and SDGs
We would like to congratulate Jaeyi (G10) on her recent achievements in the field of international relations. She joined two highly competitive programs: the Yale MUN XLIX and the 20th Training Program on the United Nations and SDGs, organized by Hope to the Future Association, at the UN Headquarters in New York last January 2023.
One of the highlights of her experience at the Yale MUN XLIX was being chosen to be part of the Global Exchange Program, which selected 30 students amongst over 5,000 applicants from all over the world. This program allowed Jaeyi to participate in an open talk and debate with professionals on the topic of "Media Polarization," an issue that is becoming increasingly important in today's digital age. By engaging in these discussions, she was able to gain a deeper understanding of the media industry’s challenges and how they can be addressed.
At the United Nations headquarters, she actively attended lectures and open Q&A sessions by high UN officials, NGO representatives, and UN diplomats. These sessions provided her with an excellent opportunity to learn from experts in the field and gain a deeper understanding and insights of the challenges the world faces today.
Overall, her experience at both the Yale MUN XLIX and the 20th Training Program on the United Nations and SDGs provided her with valuable insights, skills, and knowledge that she can use to make a positive impact in our community. We can all learn from her example and strive to engage with global issues in a meaningful way.

TEDXYOUTH@SWA 2023 - FEBRUARY 25th, 2023
In this vast and busy world, inner self-empowerment is often forgotten as we tend to focus on some arbitrary metrics at work. In some cases, we even forget that the world has been changing that much in just a couple of years or even months.
Discover the importance of empowering our inner self by becoming relevant to the world's needs around us, while also having a strong anchor as our principal so what we choose to do can resonate with our natural values. When we are in harmony with our true selves, we will radiate positivity and attract positive experiences and people around us. This resonant energy creates a ripple effect that has the power to touch and positively impact everyone around us.
Join us at TEDxYouth@SWA 2023 and learn to empower our inner self by being relevant, resonant, and radiant.

SWA LITERACY PROGRAMME
Your partner in building a strong foundation in English literacy skills is here. Join the SWA Literacy Programme! The SWA Literacy Programme features JOLLY PHONICS for ages 3-6. It is a comprehensive programme that employs a child-centred and multisensory approach to teaching the 42 sounds of the alphabet, which motivates children to build words as early as possible.
The programme is also offered to Elementary School students aged 7-11 years old. In this programme, literacy skills, (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), are further developed through exposure to stories of various genres. The language exercises are combined with activities that focus on comprehension skills (eg. summarising, inferencing, comparing and contrasting) that they can apply to all reading situations.
