TODDLER
Written by Ms. Jill
What an exciting first week it has been in the Toddler Class! The children began their school journey by getting to know their teachers and friends, exploring the classroom, and becoming familiar with their new environment.
Through songs, they started learning our daily routines. They also met the puppers, Anna and Ben, while learning to identify girls and boys. Story time was another highlight as they listened to Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, introducing the letters they will explore throughout the year. They then painted their names using their fingers, creating colourful and personal artwork.
It was a joyful week filled with new faces, songs, stories, routines, and discoveries. We are so proud of our toddlers!

What a wonderful first week we’ve had! Our Nursery classroom was filled with tears, giggles, cuddles, smiles, and lots of exciting discoveries!
Our little learners bravely practised saying goodbye, explored their new classroom, joined in fun activities, and began making new friends through play, songs, and shared experiences. Every little step, from joining an activity to trying something new, was a big achievement! It has been lovely watching our children gradually become more comfortable, confident, and excited to be at school.
A big thank you to our wonderful parents for your patience and support as we help our little ones settle into their new school adventure.

A Wonderful Start to Pre-K!
Our first week in Pre-K has been filled with new experiences, familiar faces, and lots of little emotions! While we had several students experiencing tears and separation anxiety, especially among our new learners, we are happy to see them gradually adjusting to the classroom routines and becoming more comfortable each day.
Our little learners have enjoyed exploring fun activities such as colour sorting and colour mixing. Many also loved singing and moving along to nursery rhymes, while some preferred to observe first before joining in. It was also wonderful to see our returning students excited to reunite with their friends from Nursery!
It has been a challenging but rewarding first week. For now, our focus is on settling in, building relationships, and helping our little ones feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. With each day, we are seeing more smiles and confidence, and we look forward to an even better week ahead!

G2 - SCIENCE

Magic Colour Burst Experiment
Grade 2 students had an exciting time learning about the scientific method through the Magic Colour Burst experiment. They began by discussing and sharing predictions about what might happen when coloured tissue paper with dish soap was placed in milk. The students then coloured their tissue paper, added a small amount of dish soap, and carefully placed it into a shallow dish of milk.
They were amazed as the colours spread and swirled across the milk, creating beautiful patterns. Students eagerly shared their observations and compared them with their predictions. Through this hands-on experiment, they learned how to ask questions, make predictions, conduct a test, observe changes, and draw conclusions. It was a fun and memorable way to bring the scientific method to life.

As Indonesia’s Independence Day approaches, Grade 3 students got into the festive spirit by visiting our Merdeka Corner! 🇮🇩 Students enjoyed a variety of fun activities while learning about Indonesian culture and the importance of working together. They coloured batik kite designs, created their own Indonesian bookmarks, and completed an exciting Independence Day puzzle.
To practise the spirit of gotong royong, students also worked together to create a red-and-white paper flag chain. Through these activities, students had fun, expressed their creativity, and worked together as they prepared to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day. ❤️🤍
G4 - PE

Grade 4 students enjoyed an exciting PE lesson focused on developing sprinting technique, speed, and coordination through fun and engaging activities.
The lesson began with a dynamic warm-up featuring animal movements, where students moved like frogs, bears, kangaroos, and cheetahs. This helped prepare their bodies while creating an enthusiastic atmosphere. Students then participated in speed and coordination games that challenged them to react quickly, change direction, and work together.
Throughout the lesson, students showed great enthusiasm, encouraged their friends, and demonstrated excellent teamwork. By the end, they had improved their physical skills while developing confidence, cooperation, and a positive attitude toward physical activity.
G5 - MUSIC
Written by Mr. Freddy
Music education is an important part of a child's holistic development, nurturing creativity, confidence, collaboration, discipline, and self-expression. Our Grade 5 Music programme builds both musical understanding and transferable life skills through active participation and performance, offering students a balanced journey through singing and instrumental music.
Vocal harmony strengthens listening skills, pitch accuracy, and ensemble awareness, while instrumental work on the hulusi, kolintang, and ukulele rounds out the experience. The hulusi explores melody and expression, while the kolintang and ukulele introduce chords, rhythm, and accompaniment.
By learning both melodic and accompanying roles, students deepen their understanding of ensemble music-making—collaborating regularly, listening to one another, and growing into confident lifelong music learners.
