Dear Early Years and Elementary School Parents,

A very warm welcome to the 2026–2027 academic year! We are delighted to begin another exciting year of learning, growth, and discovery together with our students and families.

This year marks an exciting new chapter for our Early Years and Elementary School. We are pleased to welcome more than 40 new families to our community and look forward to building strong partnerships with all of you. At the same time, we will be introducing several new initiatives and policies designed to further enrich our students' learning experiences and support their holistic development.

In the Early Years, we are excited to introduce LEGO® WeDo to our K2 students, providing them with opportunities to develop creativity, problem-solving, and computational thinking through hands-on learning. We are also looking forward to fielding our youngest-ever SWA team in the FIRST LEGO League, giving our students an early opportunity to explore robotics and teamwork.

Building on the success of last year's robotics programme, the Elementary School will expand its offerings by introducing both VEX GO and VEX IQ. We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements in robotics during the past academic year, especially considering it was our first year participating in the programme. We are excited to continue nurturing innovation, collaboration, and engineering skills through these programmes.

Academically, we will further strengthen our curriculum with the introduction of the BEST Foundations® programme in the Elementary School. In addition, students in the Upper Elementary will embark on Passion Projects, allowing them to pursue topics of personal interest while developing essential research, critical thinking, creativity, and presentation skills—competencies that are increasingly important for success in the future.

These are just some of the many exciting opportunities that await our students this year. Together with our dedicated teachers and supportive parent community, we are committed to creating a joyful, engaging, and meaningful learning journey for every child.

We look forward to partnering with you throughout the year and making Academic Year 2026–2027 a memorable and rewarding experience for all.

Welcome to the 2026/2027 academic year at Sinarmas World Academy! Whether you are returning to campus or joining us for the first time, we are delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and growing school community.

We begin the new academic year with excellent news from the International Baccalaureate May 2026 examination session. Our students achieved an outstanding average IB score of 38 out of 45. This is significantly higher than the global average of 30.9 and marks a second year in which SWA places among the top 50 schools in the world.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication of our entire community: the hard work of our students, the expertise and inspiration of our teachers, the care and guidance of our counsellors, the vision of our leadership team, and the trust and support of our parents.

This year, we will continue to foster the academic excellence, wellbeing, character, sense of belonging, responsibility, and student agency that have become defining features of our programme and have played an important role in our students’ success and achievements.

We are also pleased to announce the opening of our new Wellness Centre, which will operate under the guidance of our counselling team. The centre will further strengthen the support available to students and promote their social-emotional development and overall wellbeing.

Over the summer, several improvements were also made across the campus. These enhancements will further enrich our beautiful learning environment and ensure that our students continue to benefit from state-of-the-art facilities alongside excellent teaching and learning.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Your engagement plays a vital role in your children’s success, and I look forward to working closely with you throughout the year ahead.

A Historic IBDP Milestone for Sinarmas World Academy

The May 2026 cohort records the strongest International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme results in SWA history - an achievement shaped by student determination, teacher expertise, and community support.

Sinarmas World Academy is proud to celebrate an exceptional milestone in its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme journey. The May 2026 cohort achieved the school’s strongest IBDP performance to date, combining an outstanding pass rate, a high cohort average, and remarkable achievement across the full range of Diploma scores.

All 18 Diploma candidates successfully earned the IB Diploma, resulting in a 100% Diploma and Bilingual Diploma pass rate. The cohort achieved an impressive average Diploma score of 38 points, while the highest-scoring student attained the maximum possible result of 45 out of 45 points. The average subject grade was equally strong at 6.05 out of 7.

A 100% pass rate, an average score of 38, and a perfect 45-point result make May 2026 a defining moment in SWA’s IBDP history.

The strength of the results was not limited to one or two exceptional students. Instead, achievement was distributed across the entire cohort.

An extraordinary 44.4% of students achieved 40 points or above, placing almost half of the cohort within the highest IBDP achievement band. In addition, 83.3% scored 35 points or higher, while 94.4% achieved at least 30 points. This demonstrates both outstanding top-end performance and exceptional depth throughout the graduating class.

These historic results would not have been possible without the dedication of SWA’s teaching team.Throughout the two-year programme, teachers provided clear academic expectations, carefully sequenced learning, detailed assessment feedback, and consistent pastoral support.  They helped students understand assessment criteria, strengthen their academic skills, manage demanding deadlines, and maintain confidence during challenging periods.

The May 2026 results represent the combined efforts of students, teachers, the leadership and core teams, counsellors, parents, and the wider school community. Academic monitoring, university guidance, wellbeing support, family communication, and timely intervention all worked together around each student.

This is more than a set of examination results. It is evidence of a strong learning culture - one built on aspiration, resilience, collaboration, and care.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, our teachers, parents, and the entire Sinarmas World Academy community on this historic achievement.

Textbook/Writing Book Sets

The collection of students’ textbooks/writing book sets for the Academic Year 2026-2027 started on Monday, 20 July 2026, for parents/students who already received the notification from the SWA Library.

For parents/students who have not yet received the email from SWA Library, kindly be informed that the school is still waiting for some books/stationery items to be delivered from the supplier but you are welcome to collect the other textbooks/writing book sets following the arrangements below.

• Schedule for collection: Monday - Friday: between 07:45 AM - 11:30 AM and 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM. 

• Venue for collection: Dance Room, Arts Building, 1st Floor (The entrance is located next to MSHS Library stairs)

To expedite the process, please notify us one day prior to your visit to collect the items by sending an email to library@swa-jkt.com. 

Please bring your child's book order invoice and/or student ID card for the collection.

School Uniform

SWA’s uniform sales are only available offline. Parents may purchase and/or collect the uniform in the SWA Shop. SWA Shop open from Monday - Friday starting from 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Monday - Thursday : White and blue uniform

Friday : Batik uniform

*Please wear the PE uniform on days when PE is scheduled (refer to the timetable)
*Black shoes and SWA socks are mandatory.

Car Sticker

SWA community vehicles should have a 2026-2027 school car sticker. Please obtain the car sticker from the Reception (Main Lobby in the Arts Building).

All members of the SWA community must observe the procedure stated below to ensure safety and security:

• Car stickers must remain placed on the upper right-hand side of the driver's front windscreen.

• School security guards will check the car sticker and passenger's ID card. Only cars with SWA car stickers are allowed to park in the school parking basement.

• Cars without a SWA car sticker will be processed as a Visitor Car (leave your ID and get a Visitor Car Card).

• Visitor cars must place the ‘VISITOR CAR CARD’ on the front dashboard.

• School security guards will inspect thoroughly the inside of the vehicle (the trunk and the seats) and also search under the vehicle with a handheld inspection security mirror.

For new students, please submit vehicle details via Google Form. Once verified, a vehicle sticker will be issued based on the submitted information.

SWA Continues Its CSR Commitment During the School Holiday

Although schools were on holiday, SWA continued to demonstrate its commitment to supporting local communities through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. As part of this initiative, SWA distributed notebooks and copies of the Holy Quran to students at SDN Cisimeut and SDN 2 Bojong Menteng in Lebak, Banten. The donations were intended to support students' educational needs while encouraging academic excellence and strengthening moral and spiritual values.

The principals of SDN Cisimeut and SDN 2 Bojong Menteng expressed their heartfelt gratitude for SWA's kindness and attention to their schools. They sincerely thanked SWA for our generous support and prayed for the company's continued progress, greater success, and lasting prosperity. They also expressed their hope that SWA will continue its meaningful CSR initiatives, bringing positive benefits to more communities in the future.

In addition, SWA donated notebooks, copies of the Holy Quran, crayons, colored pencils, and other learning materials to 15 National kindergartens in South Tangerang. Through this contribution, SWA aims to provide young learners with essential educational resources while fostering creativity, early childhood development, and strong moral and spiritual values from an early age.

Through this CSR activity, SWA reaffirms its commitment to making a positive contribution to society by supporting education and empowering future generations. SWA believes that every contribution, no matter how small, can help create brighter opportunities for children and strengthen the communities where they live.

The principals of all the schools expressed their heartfelt appreciation for SWA's generosity and unwavering commitment to supporting education. They conveyed their sincere gratitude for the company's meaningful contribution, recognizing the positive impact it has had on their school communities. In expressing their appreciation, the principals also extended their heartfelt wishes and prayers for SWA's continued progress, sustained success, and enduring prosperity.
