Our nursery class recently hopped on a thrilling adventure to Ranch Market at The Breeze, for their field trip last 5 May 2024, and it was an absolute blast! Our enthusiastic little explorers diving headfirst into a world of vibrant colours and tantalising scents at the supermarket. From the bountiful displays of fresh fruits to the crisp aisles of vegetables, our young adventurers journey through each section with wide-eyed wonder and eager curiosity. The excitement reached new heights as they stumbled upon the wet and dry areas, giggling as they felt the coolness of and marvelled at the texture of rice grains. It was a hands-on extravaganza that not only tickled their senses but also deepened their connection to the world of food and grocery.
Overall, this field trip was not just about fun, it was a valuable learning journey that enriched their understanding of the world around them. We are already looking forward to more adventures and discoveries with our little explorers in the days to come.
PreK Field Trip

Dear Mommy and Daddy,
Hello! We had our field trip to Branchsto Equestrian Park in BSD today. It was a memorable experience having my teacher and friends on the trip with me. We had a lot of fun singing and chatting on the big red school bus. Along the way, we saw the malls, parks, and restaurants we always visit together, and I showed them to my seatmate. Oh, we also saw some traffic lights on the way there! We just couldn't wait for the red light to turn green so we’ll get to the park faster.
Finally, we arrived at Branchsto, and we couldn't wait to meet all the animals and people we were about to encounter. We greeted them with our loud and cheerful voices. First, we met the little ponies and had the chance to comb their hair. One of them, named Annabelle, was very friendly and small, just like me. At first, I was a little bit scared, but as I waited for my turn, I watched my friends and gently combed her hair too. The best part was when we got to ride on the pony, and I tried to give my best smile for the camera. Afterwards, we tried the sport archery followed by a short choo-choo train ride to the petting farm. There, we were greeted by colourful birds, a big rough-skinned iguana, a tall emu, and a group of tortoises. I hope we did not make too much noise, but we were really excited to see them. We gave carrots to a pony and to one of our favourite animals… rabbits! I think they really liked visitors like us because we are also super cute and cuddly! Suddenly, after giving them food, I told my teacher “I am very hungry!”
We ate our snacks and continued to play with our friends as we rested in the Branchsto Cafe. It was a very nice, cloudy and fun day! Our voices filled the room with laughter and stories until we rode the bus back to school. I am really grateful for this special time with my friends and for the amazing world around me! Please watch our class video, Mommy and Daddy. Thank you!
Love,
Your Pre-K kid.
K1 Field Trip
Written by Ms. Lorely and Ms. Diane
The K1 students counted the days to their field trip at the Nice Garden Serpong on 17 May 2024. It was loads of fun and there were so many awesome things that the children enjoyed. Here are the highlights of that incredible day:
The BUS ride! - We all love bus rides! In fact, the bus driver took a longer route before reaching the Nice Garden, and just the mere fact of seeing cars, houses, and buildings together made everyone really excited.
The ANIMALS - Although the kids would have loved to see lots of animals outside their enclosures, they enjoyed feeding the sheep, tortoises, and guinea pigs. They were also amazed with the cuteness of the albino and marmoset monkeys, the colourful macaw, and the chinchillas.
The PLAYGROUND - Seeing the playground from afar was so inviting. The kids couldn't wait to get there! They had so much fun running around, climbing on the jungle gym, and sliding down the big slides. There were swings, car lanes, and a sandbox, too. Laughter and cheers filled the air as they played together. It was definitely the best part of the day!
The SOUVENIR - To top it all off, each child got a piece of a simple wind-up rabbit toy for a souvenir, and that made their day.
K2 Arts
Written by Mr. Ezard
In their art lesson, K2 students explored facial expressions. They began by sketching face shapes, adding colours, and then incorporating googly eyes for a playful touch. By varying eyebrow and mouth lines, they crafted a range of emotions—from joyous smiles to solemn frowns and even fierce scowls. Each expression was a canvas for their imagination, sparking creativity and exploration. This engaging activity not only honed their artistic skills but also fostered empathy and understanding of emotions. Through their drawings, they communicated feelings, learning the language of expression in a fun and interactive way.

Grade 1 PE

This term, our energetic Grade 1 students participated in the much-anticipated annual fitness test, showcasing their abilities in various physical activities. The event aimed to promote the importance of physical fitness from an early age and included three key exercises: the sit and reach for flexibility, the standing broad jump for power, and a 1-kilometre run for cardiovascular endurance.
The day began with the sit-and-reach test, where students demonstrated their flexibility. With feet flat against a box, they reached forward as far as possible. Many students surprised themselves with how far they could stretch, highlighting their impressive flexibility.
Next, students moved on to the standing broad jump. This exercise tested their lower body power as they jumped forward from a standing position. Cheers and claps filled the air as each student leaped as far as they could, striving to beat their personal bests.
The fitness test concluded with a 1-kilometre run, designed to assess cardiovascular endurance. Despite the length of the course, our young athletes showed determination and stamina, pacing themselves and encouraging one another along the way. The sense of accomplishment was evident as they crossed the finish line, proud of their hard work.
Overall, the Grade 1 fitness test was a resounding success, filled with enthusiasm and teamwork. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to understand the value of physical fitness and set the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. Congratulations to all our Grade 1 students for their outstanding efforts!

Grade 3 English
Written by Mr. Robert
Grade 3 went on an exciting reading comprehension journey. Engaging in dynamic activities, they honed their recall skills in preparation for their upcoming assessments. In one activity, students embraced the challenge of sorting out the jumbled words from the first two paragraphs of a story. Working collaboratively, they pieced together the narrative, exercising their memory and sequencing abilities. Through this exercise, they not only grasped the storyline but also cultivated teamwork and critical thinking.
Adding a touch of fun to their learning, students participated in the lively "Grab the Cup" game. Brimming with enthusiasm, they competed against each other, racing to be the first to grab the cup. Eager to showcase their comprehension prowess, the victor had the opportunity to answer a comprehension question and earn valuable points for their team in the friendly competition.
Beyond the fun and games, these activities brought us closer. We high-fived our teammates, cheered each other on, and celebrated every small victory together. It wasn't just about learning; it was about building bonds and feeling like part of something special.
