Colorado Department of Education Math Intervention Toolkits
In collaboration with Colorado Math Leaders (CML), CDE and the Colorado Council of Teachers of Mathematics (CCTM) led a group of Colorado educators and contractors in developing a collection of free toolkits designed for educators, families and out-of-school time professionals. The toolkits follow a structured approach with four key components: a pre-assessment to gauge initial understanding, comprehensive lesson(s) to explore mathematical concepts, a post-assessment to measure learning progress and real world learning/extensions to apply knowledge in practical contexts. In the classroom, these interventions are intended for teachers or interventionists to use in small groups or one-on-one with students.
Explore the Math Intervention Toolkits webpage for the available toolkits by grade band.
