Frequently Asked Questions:

• Where are the rehearsals?

  • All rehearsals are at Red Hawk, with the exception of the Dress Rehearsals.

• What time do rehearsals start?

  • 7:25 am sharp, with the exception of Fridays, which start at 8:00

• What should my student wear to rehearsal?

  • Students should wear their school day clothes, preferably something they can move in.  Once they have their jazz shoes, they should begin rehearsing with them.

• What if my student is ill?

  • Please email Mrs. Abbott directly or send a message on the Remind App.

• What is an excused absence?

  • Students are excused from absence when they are ill.

  • Pre-arranged absences will be considered on a 1-on-1 situation.  

  • Students needing to leave due to a family emergency.

• How do I know when the rehearsals are?

  • Please always refer to the Musical Calendar Page.

• How do I know when my student has rehearsal?

  • There will be a detailed, scene by scene breakdown of who is in each scene.  Please find out asap which scenes your student is in.

• My student is a member of the ensemble, when do they attend rehearsals?

  • The ensemble will be broken into groups and assigned scenes.  This can be found on the detailed scene break down sheet, which will be on the Rehearsal Schedule page.

• My student wants to practice the music at home, where can I find it?

  • The music is in a google folder, you can find the link on the "Rehearsals" page.

• My student is in Soaring Hawks, but also has rehearsal, what do I do?

  • Please contact Mrs. Abbott.  She will be at school before 7:00 am each day and you may send your student(s) to her.

• My student has a morning conflict, what should I do?

  • Please contact Mrs. Abbott, this will be a case by case situation.
