Grade 7 Math

Our math classes will be held jointly with the grade 8 students.

There will be a little bit of jumping around the books this year as I will teach same topics to both grades simultaneously (fractions, for example).

• In grade 7, we will learn about:

  • Number patterns and relations

  • The shape and space of objects (geometry & measurement)

  • Fractions and decimals

  • Statistics and probability

  • Order of operations

  • Perimeter and surface area

  • Percentages

  • Algebra

Students will be assessed on:
