Mrs. Kail has been teaching high school ELA for 23 years. Her student-centered approach focuses on assisting each student reach their potential. She teaches SVTV, Honors English 10, English 10, CCP College Writing I and II, and CCP American Literature.
Mrs. Kail serves on the Ohio Department of Education's Content Advisory Committee for the ELA II End-of-Course exam.
Mrs. Kail's work has been published twice in the National Council of Teachers of English's prestigious English Journal. NCTE awarded her 2008 publication "Vocabulary Instruction Goes 'Old School'" an Honorable Mention for the Paul and Kate Farmer Award.
Mrs. Kail has presented at numerous local and national conferences, including Stark County's High Impact Conference for Educators and NCTE's national convention in Anaheim, California in 2022. In November of 2023 she will present at NCTE's national conference in Columbus, and in 2024 she will be presenting professional development seminars for teachers through the Bureau of Educational Research.
