You see that lady right above? Ya, her. I remember walking into the first day of my intro to ag class as a 9th grader and just knowing. I felt at home. Usually students have one idea when they leave high school for what their career looks like and it often changes 500 times. Not me; I knew my calling and followed through with it. Above is my high school advisor, Ms. Canon. She opened my eyes to what it means to be a teacher and accept ALL students for who they are.
What?! I have to choose just one? Ok, so at Shasta College I had my first experience with swine and cattle. I LOOOOOVED working in the swine unit. Piglets are so ugly, they are cute. Enjoy looking at the naked mole rats above. #you'rewelcome
Easy... Ed Fairlee. During my second year of teaching he passed away, but without him I would have never considered education. He was my best friend and now my guardian angel. Above he is the far right, pictured with my amazing parents. He was the BEST grampie and the most kind soul.
My family. Done. (Pssst... we are a weird bunch).
To the left is the Intermountain section teachers. We are the most spread out section in the Superior Region of the California FFA Association.
