Sixth Seventh and Eighth Grade Music Program 2018

Sixth Seventh and Eighth Grade Program 2018

On Thursday December 13, the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders performed a Christmas program featuring the songs “Advent Canon”, “Mary Did You Know”, “White Winter Hymnal”, and “Christmas Jig”. “Christmas Jig” featured several kind of drums and a couple tambourines. “Mary Did You Know” had a group of vocal percussionists and “White Winter Hymnal” included room 83 doing body percussion. Mrs. O'Brien also put together a xylophone orff that played “Silent Night” and a flute small group that played “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”. In addition to the other four songs, the eighth grade sang “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman as a goodbye song as this is their ninth and last music concert at St. Vincent de Paul. Mrs. O’Brien and Mrs. Lemense worked very hard to make sure 2018’s Christmas Program went on without a hitch.
