Expectations

Our classroom is a family. We enter the classroom ready to learn, laugh, and grow together. Students are expected to have a positive attitude and a growth mindset that will foster learning. 

Our Classroom Rules: 

1.  Follow directions quickly. 

2. Raise your hand for permission to speak.

3. Make Smart Choices. 

4. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat. 

5. Keep your dear teacher happy.  

Homework Policy: 

At the beginning of the week, I will send home a weekly agenda. I recommend keeping this in a safe place for you and your child to review each night. 

Homework is assigned on a nightly basis. You can plan for about 30 - 45 minutes each night.

Classroom Management:

My classroom management is fairly simple. I use techniques from whole brain teaching to keep students engaged and motivated. If there is a behavior concern, I will reach out to you via phone call.
