Welcome to the Nano-Biosensors Research Lab
The Laboratory of Nano Biosensors Research focuses on the synthesis, processing, and characterization of novel carbon and non-carbon-based nanomaterials, including nanoparticles, nanotubes, nanorods, graphene, BNNTs, MOF, and other 2D nanomaterials. Close collaboration with internationally leading research labs enables us to develop multifunctional hierarchical nanostructures for their implementation in the healthcare sectors (Biosensors) and for their use in energy storage & conversion applications.
Research Interest
- Material Chemistry, Analytical Electrochemistry, energy storage applications, wearable Devices, electrochemical biosensors, nanosensors, disease diagnostics, and molecular diagnostics,
- Develop and plan research directions focusing on the synthesis of MXenes
- Development of peptide-based nanobiosensor for the detection of influenza virus.
- Synthesized and characterized novel nanostructured materials for electrochemical (bio) sensors and fuel cell applications.
