Can we put together an optional list of parent names/emails, etc so that we can reach out to other families for play dates, etc?
Yes! We actually already have an optional parent contact spreadsheet set up for this exact purpose. Families can choose to add their information if they’d like to connect for playdates, parties, or other social reasons outside of school. I’ll link the spreadsheet again so you can easily access it.
Do students just need one set of headphones for the classroom, or should we plan to provide an additional set?
Yes—just one set of headphones is needed. The pair you sent in with the rest of your supplies is perfect, so you don’t need to provide another. Thank you!

"No individual birthday parties are held at school. To ensure the health and safety of all students, birthday treats and refreshments are not to be sent to school for an individual child’s birthday. Additionally, invitations will not be distributed within classrooms for individual parties."
However, we make sure they feel special on their special day!
They make a birthday crown, a birthday sticker to wear all day, and a small gift from me.
We sing to them as a class and they sing as a class during Spanish.
