SCHS Gifted Outreach Program
SCHS Gifted Outreach Program
The Selective Entry Network of schools (Mac.Robertson High School, Melbourne High School, Nossal High School and Suzanne Cory High School) has been funded by the Department of Education and Training to run the Gifted Outreach Program from 2024 - 2026. The program involves primary school students working collaboratively on a project, with the assistance of Year 9 mentors from Suzanne Cory High School. This program embodies the Department’s commitment to supporting the needs of highly able Year 5 and 6 students who might not usually have access to enrichment or extension programs and facilities.
The Gifted Outreach Program is supported by High Ability Practice Leaders and/or Victorian High-Ability Program (VHAP) Coordinators. Please contact your child’s primary school to register your interest.
Please fill in this questionnaire to help us tailor and improve the program for all participants (coming soon).
Parents/caregivers of program attendees are invited to book a school tour with our Principal. Please speak to reception on 03 8734 2800 to register.
Detailed information about the sessions have been sent to parents/caregivers through their school's High Ability Program Leaders. Parents are welcome to contact the Gifted Outreach Program Team for more information.
