It is encouraged that all temple ordinances be scheduled by appointment. 

The Payson temple opens up new appointments every Sunday morning at 9am for eight weeks in advance. There are also last-minute cancellations so it is worth checking the morning of or the night before to see if you can get a last-minute appointment.
