“What excited me most about SUU Dance was the opportunity to study Jazz, Modern, and Ballet at equal levels. I am also drawn in by the mentorship awarded here. Each professor plays an integral role in helping you through the program and beyond. Being from a rural area I didn’t have a lot of opportunities to take master classes except at events like High School Shakes, and it always opened my eyes to new ideas, possibilities, and perspectives. Being in that environment with a lot of new people was always very inspiring as a young dancer, and a huge part of why I chose to come to SUU. ”
