Questions about school of business graduate programs
Miranda Gubler was is a Utah born native. She comes from a large family with four brothers and one sister. Growing up with all the boys taught her how to be confident in a house full of chaos. She lives in Southern Utah with her husband and five children.
Miranda has a passion for higher education and believes that it will help anyone reach their ultimate life goals. She comes from a long line of educators and wants to continue to instill the importance of education in others. She believes that higher education is not only beneficial for the mind and educational growth but promotes life long learning and both personal and professional growth.
She has been working professionally in higher education since 2012 and has enjoyed it immensely. Prior to being part of the school of business, Miranda was the internship coordinator for SUU's Intergovernmental Internship Cooperative. Before jumping over to Southern Utah University she worked as the Stevens-Henager College (St. George Campus) Director of Student Services.
B.S. in Human Communication from Dixie State University - 2012
Masters of Public Administration from Southern Utah University - 2014.
Miranda loves to be with her family and is a huge Disney fanatic. They make a trip, or two, to Disneyland every year. She has a large collection of Disney ears and is always looking to add new ones to her wall.
She also loves to read and enjoys all different types of books. Her favorites are fantasy, fiction, historical fiction, and Science Fiction. One of her all time favorite book series is "Red Rising" and she tries to get everyone to read it!
She has a collection of Harry Potter paraphernalia and it a massive fan of the series. She will always argue that the books are better than the movies but enjoyed the movies as well, except for number 4 which was a disappointment in comparison to the books.
She enjoys water activities, especially Scuba Diving! She has been diving since she was 12 years old and continues to go when she can. She would love to travel to Roatan or Belize and scuba dive in some beautiful warm water!
Miranda loves cooking and cross stitching and works to improve her skill in both.
