junior supremo TRAINING

Please contact us if you would like to have a group of students trained to be leaders! We cover basic leadership skills, games to practice communication techniques and culminate in leaders practicing their newly found skills on a younger cohort of pupils.

Training works better we have a host school and 2/3 other schools attend, providing a different environment to the familiarity of their usual class setting.

Judo

Westcroft Judo club are keen to do a series of taster sessions out in primary schools. They have 50 judo mats they can bring out to your venue. An email with details of the promotion will follow after half term, so keep an eye on your inbox!

Gymnastics Scheme

The new Merton Gymnastics Edition 2 Scheme of Work is now available.

The new scheme of work has been written with Gary Kirby, International Gymnastic Coach and British Gymnastics Tutor. It consists of 3 units of 6 week lesson plans for each year group 1 – 6 as well as resources including a glossary, 52 pulse raisers and muscle activation cards, 160 skill development cards, sequence development grids, skill assessment sheet and access to 130 skill development videos.

After a day bringing the sector together to shape the future of sport and physical activity in the capital, London Sport are recapping on 5 key moments from Active London 2022.

Dan the skipping man

Dan the Skipping Man is on a mission to help everybody experience the benefits that skipping can deliver! They help individuals, schools and other organisations get the most from the physical and mental health benefits of skipping.

Ten Project is aimed at providing children aged four - ten with high quality, fun, game based tennis coaching that also involves the whole family, all FREE and affordable. 10 weeks of ‘in school’ tennis coaching is supplemented with a FREE parent/child session at the weekends on public owned local community tennis courts.
