The Business and Professional Development Team

The Business and Professional Development Team is here to support you with any query on selecting the learning event that best meets your needs. We are a busy team and would kindly ask that you first refer to the User Guidance if you need assistance with registration. We would also urge you to carefully check the target group and learning objectives on the system before booking onto a learning event. The trainer has the right to turn you away on the day if it is found that you are not meeting the requirements which is part of the terms of condition for attending the training.

Cognus provides education support services to families, schools and specialist education providers in Sutton and surrounding areas.

We deliver a comprehensive range of educational support packages, highly professional training and services through our team of education specialists – teachers, psychologists and other practitioners – with an extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of education. By integrating our knowledge and expertise with all education providers, settings and especially schools, we help children and young people to access and enjoy their learning, and to thrive in their education setting.

Our services and training focus on supporting all children (eg. school improvement) and in many cases those with special educational needs, their families/carers and schools through providing advice, advocacy and training. We are committed to promoting equal access to education for those with additional learning needs to improve the outcomes of children and young people in Sutton.

We make a difference by keeping the well-being and education of children and young people at the heart of everything we do.
