Mrs. Martens

Mrs. Martens has been teaching at Desert Canyon since 1998. She has taught 2nd, 3rd, and is currently in 5th grade. She has endorsements for English as a Second Language, Reading Specialist, and Early Childhood Learning. In the 2010-2011 school year, she was chosen as Desert Canyon's Charros Teacher of the Year. She attended Arizona State University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and her Masters Degree in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Martens loves everything related to science and she is excited to share that passion with her students.
